@TheRaviKeshri : Mumbai, as people say a dream city of every Indian. I have never been there but would love to go and feel this city. Mumbai a city of joy, fashion, sea and of course our very own Bollywood.

@JustMadhusmita : Bombay tests us, connects us, changes us, yet stays with us. It says a story here, a gossip there, it gives some and takes away more, yet tickles us at our worst for a muffled laughter. People love to hate Bombay. But my love affair with this city is never-ending. This city has something to teach to everyone. Most importantly, about themselves. Bombay is like junk food. It does no good but you can't make do without it.

@SomeBirdie : I am a Delhi-ite who has never lived in Bombay for more than a day. For me ‘Mumbai’, as it is now called, is a synonym of freedom and safety. My friends from Bombay tell me it's very safe, even at nights, for females, unlike Delhi. I wish to spend some part of my life, living in Bombay, all by myself. Free to roam about at mid night on the roads and sitting at Marine Drive to watch the sun set and then rise. That is what Bombay means to me – A city of slow, simple, safe and free life.

@AbidZaidi1 : "Mai samundaro.n se ghiraa hua, mai.n hoon pattharo.n se dabaa hua~Mera saaya mujhko chhor kar, kahiin aur ja ke basaa hua" Yes this is Aamchi Mumbai !! My second home...a place where I grew up...studied, worked, lived....a place that now lives in me....!!

Apna watan, apna sheher chhod kar jaana, mujhey us se kitni muhabbat hai...

@AngrySurdd : Totally opposite of delhi, no m not talking abt safety.. city wid skyscrapers, sea (something north indians love) and watching the skyline standing at marine drive.. BreathTaking it is.. Gateway Of India welcomes u standing Tall and firm when u return frm Elephanta Caves with The Taj beside.. Beautiful it is.. Carters,Bandra,Powai,Colaba,Juhu,Choupatti .. Ths city has a lot to offer to tourists.. Though crowded still d lifeline of city Local is an experience esp if u board frm CST..Mumbai an experience worth living.

@KaammKaaji : Although my monthly romances with Mambai are over now but It has given me some friends for life and times which I will cherish untill eternity. Traveling in Local is something to be added in bucket list of all 7.25million people around the globe. Mumbai gives a different impression altogether during night and day. Infact each locality gives you a different taste. Infact there is a rift between the sides of the SeaLink. Its a city full of Life. Mumbai infact is a whole country in itself.

@Chota_Packet91 : hello, I dnt knw how to write it i dnt even know grammer facts but still i am trying..Mumbai ahh everybody has attraction of this city..same in my case too..i really dnt knw whats in mumbai that everybody fond of,i realized it when i came to mumbai for my (unexcited) education..the city full of rich culture, glamour world, local trains & Dabbawlas of mumbai not to forget..MUMBAI MERI JAAN sach me yarr..i wish every1 in their life just once visit mumbai..u will get all love back.thank u.

@AjitWrites : Read the book, 'Shantaram'. That's all what Mumbai is for me. The place where you experience life to the core. It has its own different feel and where you can never control 'time'; time will control you. Live to experience it.

@EnoSaint : The city of dreams with diverse people but still somehow united. This city has every thing love, hate , romance, sea, lights , fun, and joys. But the most important thing it have is its spirit . It gives u love more than it gives u success.

@SaneRider : A City where still some old buses ply,a city whr any class people live and love,A city never sleeps.

@Hiyer : It is a city that drowns you in its noise, yet gives you an audience for your voice.  It is a city that dwells in filth and yet gives you an opportunity to shine.  This city is more than a metaphor, it is a paradox. The most lovely paradox in the world.

@Jayashripradhan : I was born in Mumbai but didn't grow up there.Aamchi mumbai is the popular lingo. The city changed its name in 1995 to Mumbai, after Mumbadevi, the stone goddess of the deep-sea...Mumbai is 'India' in microcosm.Nearly 13 million people including weathy industrialists, flashy film stars , clerks, teachers etc all live together in peace and harmony like a woven cloth. Like NYC, it is a city that is known for it’s resilience – people dust themselves off and get right back to work after harrowing incidents like terror attacks. I love the spirit of Mumbai.

@Absolute_Purple : The city of dreams. A cluster of Islands. Inspite of the matchbox sixed houses, sky rocketing rents, lack of open spaces, it is the Maximum city.

@Ashes_N_Stars & @Shrewd_Kitty :The salty air laden with hope that breathes life into the city. The sun breaking over terraces and trees with a renewed promise..The sound of rails & rickshaws sated with ceaseless vigor.A melting pot of ambitions & dreams.Order in chaos..Mumbai is home. You'll always find your way here. Proud to be a Mumbaite !

@BloodyKamina : Mumbai or Bombay..the moment these words lingers into my ears series of emotions drives out of my mind. Even though it has been my Birth Place but it has always been giving me more than just my Existence. Earlier it was known for its "Gundaraaj" then it transformed to be the "Hub" of people who never say "Die" and it gave them a reason to "Never Look Back". Its a city where you can find "Madness" and places which gives you peace at the same time. The chai at tappri, the Bade Miyan near Taj, Mahalaxmi station ka falooda, Butta and Gola on Chowpatty are few things which you will fall in love with. A lot to say but to sum it up is One thing I'm sure about it will never give you a chance to hate.

@InAweOf : I was born in Bombay and brought up in Delhi. It's like Bombay always called out to me in different ways. And then one day I just answered those calls by moving to Mumbai for my undergrad studies. I can say it was the best decision I ever made. I have a love-hate relationship with this city. But I will always be grateful for the wonderful 4 years I spent there. Any number of words is less to describe what this city means to me. I miss you, Bombay!

  1. Thank you for putting up my response too.

I realised there has been some mistake, the spelling of the twitter handle. It should have been @Ciphur and not @ Cipher(who btw, appears to be a Japanese gentleman) as it appears above. I must have typed it wrong.

Can you kindly edit & correct it ? Thanks.
